From little on, Heather has had a creative spirit.  Her earliest memories of art started on a trip to the Appalachian Mountains learning from a little old couple at the end of the gravel road from her family's cabin.  They taught her to draw with charcoal from the fire, make snake canes from saplings that had grapevine twisted around while the tree grew and to make dolls from paper bags.  They ignited her curiosity and freedom to create with what you have. From there, her adventures began with all that nature and art could provide!  After 30 years in the Midwest spent exploring, teaching and having numerous photographic adventures and raising her children, she and her husband Mark have moved back to the mountains where it all began so many years ago.
